IE6/7 unable to open password URLs - 12-22-2007, 11:33 AM

Hello Everyone,

I know its nearly Christmas and people are probably busy stuffing the turkey

Can anybody help with this very annoying problem!!?!

I rebuilt my machine XP - installed all the Win updates etc........

Since then i am unable to open any URL's that contain usernameassword in the URL

Same happens if i paste the usernameassword url into a new browser window and hit enter

I did try rolling back to IE6 to see if that helps and it does the same)

Please can anybody help ?!?!?!?!?

Thanks

The first rule of safe surfing is-don't use IE.
There are better and much safer browsers around and they are free too! Try Firefox or Opera.
