Got HDTV? Get Ready For UHD-TV - 11-05-2009, 07:37 AM

UHD will come in two resolution levels: 7680 x 4320 pixels (8K) and 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K) and provide four to 16 times the resolution of Blu-ray or 1080p high-def. And "22.2 multichannel three-dimensional sound."

Quite unnecessary...I guess now that a lot of houses have HDTVs they need to keep sales up...in 5 to 10 years who knows if this idea will even be that far advanced, someone else will probably beat them to the punch.

It's always something... Can't really complain about new technology, but it does suck having to keep upgrading all the time.
