My favorite is 80s cult classic Local Hero with an aging Burt Lancaster. I also like Murder by Death, some Star Trek Movies, some horror movies (Hellraiser, Halloween).

Worst? Plan 9 from Outer Space was pretty bad, but kind of cult, I think. Lance - never too young to die (starring Gene Simmons from KISS as a transvestite) is very bad but has its moments. Basket Case 2 & 3 is really, really, really bad.

kaidan for best, resident evil for worst. i only say that cause i'm such a fan of the RE game series and the movie was such a piece of shit.

I didn't know Basket Case had sequels. That's awful.
