Question Weird file extensions. What to do? - 06-11-2009, 09:53 AM

I downloaded a couple of files that looked like this:

xxx.avi.__a
xxx.avi.__b
xxx.avi.__c

Now what do i do to make them viewable? I thought I would just have to delete the ".__a" , ".__b" parts of the files and so on... That didn't work though.
Is there a program to join the files and make them viewable or something?

Thanx!

Found this one:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Try the lite version. Since you don't need to install anything it should be a pretty fast trial.

Have you tried to simply rename the files as .001, .002 and so on and join them with hjsplit.

I've done the same with the badongo file extension .aa, .bb
Once renamed to .001, .002 they joined perfectly with hjsplit.
No need to download their file joiner
