joke section

how bout adding a jokes section. I personally do not read the jokes and it seems they clutter up the general discussion section. there are alot of jokes being posted and i can see adding a new section without worry of it becoming stale. How bout it ******?

While I agree with you to a point, I think that the actual amount of "general discussion" that goes on is so minute that the general discussion section would wither away. Theres actually only about 10 or 15 people that post to the GD board with any regularity.

Its a nice idea... but since there really aren't that many "discussions" here anyway, i think the jokes fill a nice place over there...

If it was any different I'd love that section...

I agree. As a member whom spends most of his time here at SS sifting thru the Discussion area, I also think that if a joke section is added the Discussion area would become stagnant. Just my 0.02 cents!

Just a quick browse to the first threads of the general chat forum shows that here mostly jokes or links to amusing web-sites are posted. So the very few technical questions might easily be overlooked. Furthermore, this forum (the opinion forum) has very posts. So here is my proposition:

The forums general chat and opinion should be changed to

A) General Chat (Jokes and all that stuff, no technical posts)

B) Technical issues (Board design, problem with media formats etc.)

Would do you think?
