The new system is a new improvement...i like that here...Always new stuff, new ideas, things move, nice discussions...

But i'm sorry, there is a problem...

The SS points were here to reward anybody for a good achievement. Either in the Passwords section, the Requests or the Security Discussion...

Now, with the new system, there is no more reward. All we have to do is to reply. That's it...

I've made a post this morning.

And what i've earned, i could have earned it today by posting 5 "Thanks mate" in any threads...

I'm not happy.

Not happy because i've spent time on this post. Like any post i make here. Alone or with Ange.

I think that the posters need to be rewarded a bit more...That was the idea of the SS points i think.
Now, i will stay in my bed a lot longer, turn on my puter, reply 5 or 6 times every two days to any threads and i will have the same points ratio!

Where is the point ? (pardon the pun...)

Who is going to spend time on posting valuable threads if he/she realizes that the work it implies could have been replaced by 5 clicks!

I think that the SS points should stay activated as well as the new system...
I don't mind the new points. I sure want to see my nick glowing...

I foresee the replies "change your hobby if you do it for the points".
All i have to say is that this point system is not my idea. It's here, i use it.
People know i'm not greedy. I don't complain or demand.

I hope active members will understand me...

Hmm ... SS points were allways "earned" ... you're right about that.

But I do like the new idea ; it's fun ... i only hope it doesn't encourage people to spam ...

hmmmm... interesting point of course. I think the boss is working on a work-around for this, certainly the points could be supplemented by bonus points, maybe these bonus points have to now come from "Thread Rating" and the stars

Or maybe a way can be found to let the great posts be awarded by bonus points by the boss, or Sup'mods, or even Green mods

hey Tigrou. Fully agreed !!

I´m also not here for the points, but I liked 'em as a small reward for our efforts.

A good post must be worth a lot more than a few clicks from our thankful members.
Anyway, I like this new feature, cause it´s different, and it will keep some folks busy..........

Would also appreciate a refund of new points for the work already done or better, for the SSpoints we have had so far.

I know, I know............ something new has to grow, not all at once.......

That´s why I think ****** and the others will find a correct solution for all of us !!!

I agree with Devilinblack.
But if I understand well, there are two kind of points...
The points we see on our threads, and the SS-points we can see in our profile, right???

what would be nice to see is that if someone posts passes, they would get points for everytime someone responds to that post.

Along with other things
