This is a reminder to all members,
Whether you are Active or Not, Crazy Poster Silver Member or Gold Member so on so forth.
THE RULES STILL APPLY
You may have paid for your account but it doesnt mean you exempt from the rules.
You may have earned silver status,
You might not have anything to your name.
THE RULES FOR REQUESTING, AND THE GENERAL FORUM RULES SHOULD BE READ AND APPLYED
I Have seen many higher ranking members not thanking for requests.
This is not a good example for other member to look up to.
Mistakes are made, if you forget to thank, we understand. The Forum has already got rid of 54,000 members lets make sure we keep the good guys here.
Remember the Code of Conduct.

I still vote for demoting anyone that is caught not-thanking to a thread, even if it's just one. If they repent they may be allowed back in later on - but loosing access for a week is surely a potent memory helper...

Well said brother Reaper, no one should be exempt from following forum rules established by the Admin Team and webmaster/director. You mentioned code of conduct,,,,,good call my friend. That's the code of rules that keeps the forum running smoothly and if we sway away from those rules, we set bad examples for the new, old and current members who enjoy their time here and want to participate, learn, promote and succeed. Great input, have a cigar on me Awsome Reaper!!!!

Explain "caught" not thanking? I've visited threads that I wasn't interested in... Either by accident, or went and tried the links and they were all dead. If they're dead, why should you revive the post anyway by saying "thanks"? It would just create a never-ending cycle.

But, again, that depends on how people get "caught"?
