Payments - 04-09-2009, 05:31 PM

Hi there,

is there any way to become gold member by paying the fee alternatively to Alertpay? The thing is that they are not accepting credit cards right now?

Thanks for a short answer.

Francesco

From my understanding of previous threads, they are no longer offering card services...

Wait for Robot to come by and give you the head up about it

Sorry for the inconvenience

They are not currently accepting cards though they state that they plan to accept cards within the next couple of weeks. In the mean time you can either fund AlertPay with the other methods they have available or wait until CC processing is back up. I am currently working on getting an additional backup payment processor up and running to prevent occurrences such as this in the future.

cp ../../../../mozillafirefox mozillafirefoxrules ."

Gold Transaction Id - 04-11-2009, 01:28 PM

What happened to ?

QUOTE=Robot;1336969]Until The payment processor begins accepting Visa/Mastercard again there's nothing we can do on our end to expedite the process.

Except, Please send me a PM quoting your last transaction id and i'll manually add subscriptions free of charge until this problem is sorted on their end.

Apologies for the Inconvenience...[/quote]

Problem with that quote was that manually checking through each and every member that PM'd me regarding this proved to be extremely time consuming with my current schedule; to the point that I wish I never made the offer... Though I have for now disabled the warning bot until this problem is resolved. Hopefully CC Processing will be back up and running soon judging by their latest blog entry. And my work on a backup processor should minimise the disruption that outages such as this may cause in the future...

Apologies for the confusion...

I never liked Alertpay...why did you switch from Paypal?

This alertpay thing is driving me crazy. I really want to donate and join the Gold area, but it's been so long with this alertpay problem that I don't think it will ever be solved. Oh well.
