What the fcuk is a "cup"...has nobody in the USA ever heard of grams or ounces....these fcuking cups are driving me crazy. Who invents a system where every "cup" is a different weight.

Fcuking idiot....whoever it was...Atkins Diet book is full of cups....how the fcuk do i know if i've eated a cup or nearly a cup. Use the weight you backward fools......LOL

BTW this isn't meant to infere that ever US citizen is an idiot but only the people who perpetuate such a CRAP method of measurement. No wonder the kiddies get fat,,, the parents can't measure the food correctly......this is from someone who's on the Atkins diet himself. Use the metric system or at least a good mix like the English. We use half and half so we all know bith systems. hehe

I'm off to drink my VERY large "cup" of tea...with lemon cos i can't have milk on Atkins....Bah !

Didn't the American system of measure develop from the British system? Except that the British system kept changing every few years and the Americans stuck with what they originally adopted? And didn't that same British system originally develop from the ancient Roman and Egyptian systems? And even when it comes to metric conversion, US and UK differ since (until 1959) the UK inch measured 2.53998 cm while the US inch was 2.540005 cm. So who's crazy?

At least Blair actually WON his election the traditional way... getting more votes. Call me crazy, but when Al Gore gets more total votes than George Bush I can't help but think that should make Gore president. Stupid Electoral College.
