Passwords as Arizona says i agree are unnecessary. I'm a newb, what do I know?

Anything that will make people read and learn the rules - there's an annoying amount that fail to do so, believe me.

Maybe a quick Quiz! Was thinking about this already before for fun in the chatter, but it could work for this as well. If there'll ever be co-admins, we'll carry it out!

I was thinking about that too! As an extra incentive, you could reward the member that does best one week in gold pass section

Otherwise, I am totally in favor of better enforcing the rules, although I have to tell, I don't see much infractions. Whether that is due to the efforts of the SSF staff OR the newbe behavior I don't know ...

1. Nomination of lurker to active member status.
2. Quick quiz for lurker on forum membership rules.
3. Lurker passed? Member is activated.
4. Lurker failed? Please refer to rule 1 & 2 above.

I don't know the steps shown on registration. It's been a long time since I saw that page lol.

However, I do think if possible the rules should be shown with a tick box to acknowledge they are understoon or read before registration is complete.
