i for one believe that rules shouldnt be open to interpretation.... i take it that that is corocoro's philosophy as well... when i first started posting, rule 9 was the most confusing... i still dont get it now... i wouldnt post clickable links at all but then i realized that that wasnt the norm at all... so i started posting clickable links and discarded rule 9 completely...
rules should be absolute... how can the mods enforce rules that arent absolute when their word on this forum IS absolute?
My own thoughts on the rules are pretty clear considering the time I've been a member.
But there are some that are not in the main rule list, but instead are in sticky threads within certain forums which contain further updated information
The basic principle of the main rules is as a guideline only, and as it states at the bottom of the list, subject to change.
What I would like to see is a Red List, a Green List and a Black list.
The RED list would be an automatic ban if such content was posted.
The GREEN list would contain the general posting request rules ( direction to Sticky threads included )
The BLACK list would be for infractable offenses, this would contain a list of bad image hosts, heavy ads upload sites, advertising spam, speed posting ( unless they meet a certain quality level ) abusive / offensive posts etc.
I my opinion, this would give us a clear definition that should leave no doubts, especially for Staff and members who are genuinely concerned about the quality of the forums in general.
Basically the rules need a complete makeover, but that is my opinion.

I think there is merit into this idea but why not have a list of acceptable image hosts also.
I myself started to use image avenue cause it was mainly used by other forum posters but i must admit that the little time delay might be annoying to some, but i dont know them all and would gladly change to a host that do not spam or rederect.
About rule no:9
DO NOT provide a direct link to any other website from here.
That one has me confused!! let me explain, when a poster protects it's post with a password that's ok but when the password is ex: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
In my opinion i find this to be a link to another forum, maybe not a direct link
but certainly an inderect one.
Curiosity obliged.. we will most of the time click or copy/paste to have a look at it.
Correct me if i'm wrong.

There has been cases where (good) candy was posted here in rapidshare packages with a pass forum URL as the password. Those posts were asked to be removed.
Until further notice, it is mainly other pass forums or any kind of forums that share.crack passes that cannot be shown here in any way at this forum except maybe in rare occasions by pm to a member you know a little.
