I have one little suggestion for the SSF forum.... i have noticed that it is $16 for a gold membership for a month.... i have also noticed that regular active members making requests in the request section usually get there passes in a maximum of a week (except for some of those rare cases where they didnt get them for 4 months)... i also KNOW that most of the members that are providing passes for others have those passes on hand, holding them from when they cracked the site awhile ago (stop me if im wrong)... however, i propose a middleground.... wat if an active member wanted a pass within a few hours or a few minutes? do we tell him tough luck, wait a few weeks or pay that $16 (which isnt alot)...

wat im suggesting is that active members be able to pay a small fee for passes... 2 or 3 dollars.... i havent hammered out all the details for instance, i have no idea where that money would go to... should it go to SSF server costs or to the individual who cracked the pass? dont know that yet, but thats y im posting it now... to get feedback from fellow SSF members and mods....

i also have no idea how it would be monitored altho with the availability of just about any mod being online at any one time, that should be pretty easy.. (shouts to the mods and the sentinels, there is always at least two of yall online at the same time)

let me hear ur ideas about this one... u know its a good idea, it just needs some time to be perfected.....

All payments made in this forum are for donations to keep this place running.
The administrator here decided to allow donators to have access to the gold section as a reward, originally the gold section was saved for people who participate here actively and donate to the forum with their time and efforts, as it grew, financial donations were required, so the gold section was opened for donators as well.

This forum is not a pay for passes forum, nor will it ever be.

The advantages of the gold forums in terms of answered requests are only by our crackers generosity of helping contributors (by donations or any other means) and returning their efforts with a reward of prioritizing the requests in the gold section, rather than the regular one and is solely up to the crackers which sites to test.

The crackers here do not work for Security-Forum.net, nor do they get paid, and by the way, I, nor any other staff here gets paid for doing our work. So assuming that any pass you request will be answered is having the wrong idea. that is why no one here can promise you if a pass will be cracked within an hour, day or week.

Aren't the signup fees for most paysites around 2 to 3 dollars? Why not just pay the site for a password that will definitely work?

As I said - we are not here to ask money for passes, and when you register you can get or request any number of passes, not just one.

If you don't mind paying each website you want to enter the price, I encourage you to do it. the website owners will be delighted as well - What is the point of you paying some website 2-3 dollars for a password to some other site that costs the same? just go to the original website and sign up yourself.

Anyway, I hope I made my point understood - we don't charge money for passes, we just request donations. you don't have to donate anything. The only think we ask and always asked for is participation in the wide variety of forums we have here. I never donated money here, just my time and hard work, much like other mods and gold members.

However, being helpful with donations, was something we decided should be rewarded as well.

im cool wit it... it was just a suggestion.... not somethin i was protesting or any kind of crap like that.... i take it that SSF allows suggestions.... i dont care if it got shot down... im ok with it...

Next to Minerva's replies, requests are being filled a lot the last month, but that frequency is more of a wave thing (in my experience from the last year). We have active times here at the forum and slower times. You arrived at an interesting time QRich. Until a month/2 months ago it took more requests and patience to find a cracker taking the time to answer your request.
That said, no matter how many much active crackers we have aboard, they have a strong tendency to focus more on the Gold requests, knowing those members help out with the server costs.

I'm also not sure how fond I'd be on crackers being active here in return for money. Neither for staff members being payed by the threads they move and close and … wait a minute… …

QRich, suggestions are always welcome. They keep this place alive.

"you only get out what you put in" this forum works in the same manner, you give nothing, you get nothing, so it's in a member's best interests to gain the trust and confidence of other members and Staff.

To do so one must show a willingness to contribute something of value, be it software, picture threads, video threads, tutorials or whatever, saying thanks in a filled request will be appreciated as the cracker know you value his / her efforts.

Unfortunately, some members simply post for the sake of boosting their post count, never contribute anything worthwhile, yet still expect to be rewarded.

The server doesn't run itself, it's is the option of all members to donate toward the server costs if they so desire, and many do so willingly because they feel at home here, not because of the passes, but because of the community spirit.

As Minerva said, there are sites out there that charge very little to join, but do you get the quality you expect? In my estimation, very rare.

Most crackers do it for the challenge, and in doing so gain experience, the respect of other crackers and, over time, may get to be Invited Gold members.

One also has to remember, not every site is crackable, if it is, why not try to learn to crack it for yourself?

Just my opinion.

i tried phil... hell, im still tryin.... but i sacrifice alot of banwidth to uploads so i cant even run charon to check proxies with any efficiency... so i upload one night, and try crackin the next nite... so far i havent cracked anything... but then again i havent been tryin anything necessarily easy... wait a minute, i cracked brazzers like twice... i thought i cracked frankstgirlworld but they turned out to be fake 200 responses... i've read alot of tutorials and am currently learning sentry (its incredibly advanced and makes me feel retarded all the time)....

anyways, like i said like 15 times, lol, it was just a suggestion.... i love SSF... tons of cool people, a laid back atmosphere, GREAT crackers... (my fav being DDS).... and cool people... did i already say that?... well, meant it both times...
