I think single posts are slightly annoying but then it can be nice to see a new model sometimes even if there are not many pictures there, it seems to form a collaboration effort in some threads, so I vote no to merging of threads.
What could be nice however is tagging each thread with a particular category or categories and allow users to filter by category and tag threads independently. This would involve a tagging system which may be implemented on the next vBulletin upgrade on this forum. I do however agree with your "Bad Image Host" Restrictions, though the identification of which hosts are bad and which are not will first need to be discussed in the mods area before we set out rules. I find nothing wrong with a single post thread, but the problem seems to me is that some posters in the video vault post 20 some movies all in single post almost every day, why not join all your single post as shall i say my "movies for today" join them by theme or by poster's names, it would be easier to navigate trough and find what your looking for, or limit the number of new threads by a poster per day. Just an idea! |
