Invited Gold Status for candy shop posters?

this is after a chat in the chatbox between members

Why is it invited gold status is only available to crackers, it seems bias towards them and against the people who are posting amazing stuff in the candy shop and video vault.
I know the candy shop is relatively "new" but still it doesnt seem that fair. Some people post a lot and show dedication to the work but they dont seem to get any reward

i am campaigning for either posters in candy shop or video vault to be able to get invited gold or a title of equal privileges and rights

opinions are welcomed here

This is an interesting idea, I'll make a query about this around the staff, but just to give you some clue on why candy shop posters don't get an invited gold status is because this is a security forum, not a photo posting forum.

i understand that, but they can put in just as much effort than some crackers and dont really get equal recognition, maybe a rank which reflects the work but since no passes, give them something like this

a rank where they get access to the entire gold area, cept the passes, so they get gold request privileges etc, but not the passes to minimize leeching,

i have got both negative and positive opinion on this. firstly positive.

i agree coz there are many hard working posters in the candyshop like nelson and others. they upload movies/pics etc which takes alot of time and bandwidth.

on the negative point. minerva is right. this is a security forum

and what if new crackers left cracking just coz they can get invited status by posting movies ? we wont have elite crackers like the ones we have now(leaving me ?

) ..

My view on this is no.. only because this is a cracking forum at heart.

This isn't in any way to say the candy shop posters aren't as good... infact I enjoy some of their work more than some pass posters, but for me invited gold should be cracker or security contributors only.

From a poster point of view. I understand both points of view. I really haven't looked into what Gold offers (since I don't have access). If there is some fun or interesting stuff, I agree with Jcubed with the access to Gold stuff except passes, Like Invited Gold Junior Member, This could jump start a posters to move over to cracking or something else that brings even more to the site.
I never came to this site just to post to get status (I had no clue there was status) I just enjoy posting,

i just started cracking... (its harder than a bitch).... i dont agree with this cause this IS a security/cracking forum and the real crackers should be the only ones able to get that status.... i'll take posting movies and pics over cracking anyday.... but i'll leave it up to the admins.... at least u know where i stand on this now
