Invited Gold Status for candy shop posters? - Page 2

I agree this is a security dedicated site and the reason i joined this site is for the passes, i even paid for a gold membership and got one pass request fullfilled, i tried crackin with limited success but i stayed here mostly because of the candy shop, i even became addicted to it and been posting ever since, there is some great stuff in there, some even better than some passes that are posted.
So my tought is, why not share the goodies we get from the passes.
Sharing may not be as complicated as crakin but it is just as time comsuming and a lot of work for some, so i would'nt go as far as recomanding a gold membership but some kind of recognition would be nice, for myself a simple reply of any kind of gratitude is all i need.

Just my 2 dollars. loll

yea titles are pretty cool... i dont even know y they are... but i could go for some exclusive titles for the super posters.... im prolly not in the running for that imaginary title yet but give me a few days.... i could post a few hundred more vids...... lol

When I first joined the board and started posting my thanks, having had 3 accounts deleted previous, we had some truly great Gold members who would post a few passes in the public sector.

We also had huge threads covering several posts, full of passes, but as time has gone on, these members have gone, for whatever reason, so the board had to evolve to cater for those who couldn't / didn't crack so as to give them an added bonus whilst learning to crack if they so chose.

Obviously the Candy Shop became a favourite for some members who, having obtained a pass could give something back.

But some members weren't interested in fair play, they wanted passes, thus was born the active status forum, but the Candy Shop / Video Vault was / is open to all, and a lot can be learned from using those forums, also it gives Staff a chance to assess members by way of dedication to posting.

For most members, Silver is a far as they need to go, content with this status as they can continue to post and enjoy the odd pass that's got a better chance of lasting.

But I do agree that a Golden Candy Shop, for selected threads that are unique in their layout, their content and their regularity of updates, a Hall Of Fame as it were wouldn't go amiss.

But the point we need to remember is that this is a pass board, and that is why the people come here.

Just my opinion.

Personally, I believe that giving some dedicated site rippers/uploaders access to gold area would benefit the forum as a whole... They can help provide more porn (especially those from hard to crack sites) for all the members...

and I really don't understand all the fuss about the title/status... if the "Invited Gold Member" title is strictly for crackers only, then why not just promote these uploaders to "Gold Member"? but instead of donating money, they're donating regular uploads...

just my 2 shekels...

wat about for those forums with tons of content in it but its not exactly a SSF popular thread?? like..... mine for example?? now that i take a step back from posting... i realize that i've been slacking lately... all my time has gone to tryin to learn how to crack, i think i might actually be able to do it, if i put it in the time and dedication needed to find proxies (i swear thats my biggest problem right now.... that and tryin to figure out wat a 200 error is, that shit is confusing)... anyhoo, guess i'll get back to posting for tonight, leave the crackin alone for at least a day or two

Well as for cracking we demand it to be people's own work (of course). But for the candy shop I can tell you that lots of work in there is just copy/paste from other boards.
This makes it really easy for lurkers to get access to the goodies imo. If you are promoting some uploaders I should at least check if its their own work. For example only uploads with password protection are considered valid uploads and the password should be something like SSF. This way you can see someone uploaded a movie/picset escpecially for SSF.

ur right... my content isnt specially uploaded for this forum... i've posted most of this stuff on other forums that i am apart of... but it is most definitely my stuff (meaning i orignally downloaded it from the paysite, i originally uploaded it to RS, i did the screen caps, the packing into the rars, and the original postings)... i have the proof for it, any of u can pm me about it.... does that push me out of the running in ur opinon/scenario? or is that substantial enuff to get a special "candy shop" posting title and privileges??

Either way it goes I am happy with the outcome there are pros and cons, loop holes a small % will take advantage of. just have to be rules. like must be known by a good % of staff. Have a round table of staff that will vote on the ones that are nominated for the status, And it will take alot of time to be nominated.

and there are other amazing work other than cracking
which is in my opinion better than cracking
