Suggestions - Technology Recommendations / Endorsements

Hello All, I like a lot of the threads on SSF. There is so much knowledge on this forum regarding technical matters - unfortunately very spread. Would it not be nice to have a thread that would endorse technologies (from OS, to i-browsers, spam filters, security software, filters, file hosting / sharing, any many more - down to the point to have a SSF endorsed PC set up, by also clearly stating what not to have). Hope I am not too far off track, but think this would be a great thread to have. Thanks for considerations, Jack

Thanks jjj13, yes there are four sections dedicated to technology stuff. But partially already very specific and then difficult to find. My point is, to start looking at that top down in allowing to configure ones PC with the best-of SSF recommendations. May be too far off, but perhaps some merit in this idea. Thanks, Jack
