Query to search for new threads on main page

Hi all!

I just would like to get your opinion an a new query on the home page. Currently, there is on http://security-forum.net/ just below the atavar a standard query to search for new posts (http://security-forum.net/forum/search.php?s=&action=getnew). This leads to many hits when since the last visits some people have replied to a new or already existing post (for each reply a single hit).
However, all search results to a single post will lead to the same address.

So here is my recommendation:

A) It would be nice to show only those threads with new conent (and only one link per thread)

or

B) If this is not possible then to search only for new threads.

So what do you think about this?
