Question Longhorn -anyone interested-? - 05-28-2003, 02:09 AM

Just following up on the Win XP post with one of my own.

What do you think of the new Windows OS (coming out in 2005) code named "Longhorn"? If you haven't seen it I'll include a link for you to pop over, just wanted to get some general opinions.

I thought that windows would have something up their sleeves... At the moment ive got no problem with my winxp. I really love it. It does everything i need it to do with the added bonus of simplicity. But hey im sure microsoft will come out with something better. I dont know why people dis microsoft so much, perhaps they do overcharge a little, but everyone must admt their products are in a different league to other companys.

@Vicky I advise you not to get any form of linux unless your using it seperatley (ie duel booting) because if your a born windows user youll find alot of the things you can do in windows with one click, it will take say 10 clicks with most linux products.

Luckly I use windows, and if I ever need an xterm or any other linux facility I telnet through my computer to my friends always online linux computer

******

"rm -f ie
cp ../../../../mozillafirefox mozillafirefoxrules ."

*Switch To Mozilla Firefox*
