Gaining Active Member Status

In order to attain free membership here you must fulfil any one or more of the following criteria/bullet points


Through Participation

• Through participation in the areas available to you. It's totally up to you how you wish to do this, which niche you want to fill. But most of the time we will notice you if we believe you are becoming a strong member of the community and set your status to Active accordingly. Since there are a large volume of members joining daily it is sometimes beyond our capabilities to monitor every registrant, feel free to post in the Active Status Request section if you believe we have passed you up for promotion. Please note that spamming the forums to increase post count will have no bearing on our selection process and will more than likely lead to total exclusion from the selection process.

• Quicker access: If you are a fellow cracker/hacker post your work in the Active Status Request Section. If your work is chosen for submission to the Gold Area by our staff team, you will be automatically granted Active status. Please note that all works submitted must be original, therefore no posted material may originate from any source other than through your own hard work. Submissions are checked for authenticity prior to active member recommendation. Additionally note that posting one or two passes will not qualify you for active member status, we only select pass posts of good quality and quantity for submission in the Gold Area.

Through Recommendation

Note, unless you are well known in the cracking/hacking community recommendations will be hard to attain without first participating within the community (see above)

• Gain 1 recommendation from an Invited Gold member or SSForum Staff member

• Gain 2 recommendations from Silver members.

• Gain 3 recommendations from existing established Active members.

If you are not chosen for Active member status do not feel disheartened, keep trying and your efforts will eventually pay off! You will find that we are a very friendly community and we will happily help to guide any individual wishing to gain active membership here through participation.
