Windows Live Messenger, how do you... - 09-20-2009, 05:13 AM

Hey everyone,

Here is a quick question regarding Windows Live Messenger. How do you know if you have been blocked. Is there anyway of finding out if someone has blocked you?

Thanks for any help

I cannot access to that website, however i advise to never trust those sites..They can be real or they can be an exploit made by a scriptkid that want to try new stuff..

Think it's possible to see if you're using MSN Plus.

No, it isn't. It was possible some time before, but Microsoft has changed some systems and now you can't see that. You can only see if someone has deleted you from his/her contact list, but not if (s)he is blocking you.

There's nothing here, move on!

want to know for sure go ans ask on micrisoft.com and ask in their help area for their messenger programs and ask and they will tell you....this is coming from their own people that there is no way of telling this info..used to be but they stopped that ages ago...if you are going to sites where they are asking for your username and password...then you just got your info ripped...and if your entering in anone elses e-mail...they you are more than likely feeding some spammers e-mail list..without them having to have their bots trolling for e-mail addresses...

I was told a way to tell, but I don't know if it works now.

click the button “change contact list layout”(next to the button"add a contct"), go to tab "privacy".
Here we are.there's a "View" button could see who has added you to their contact list.
They say people who blocked you will be shown in the list.

you could have a try.
Hope it helps
