Thanks for the heads up and thanks for some suggestions how to get rid of the crap. I will immediately take matters in my own hand.

I've been using the Better Privacy extension for Firefox for a while now too. It seems to work very well.

Users who want to control or investigate Flash cookies have several options:

Windows:
* Better Privacy extension for Firefox -
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

* Ccleaner - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Mac OS X:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Where to find these flash cookies:
* Windows: LSO files are stored typically with a “.SOL” extension, within each user’s Application Data directory, under Macromedia\FlashPlayer\#SharedObjects.

* Mac OS X: For Web sites, ~/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/FlashPlayer. For AIR Applications, ~/Library/Preferences/[package name (ID)of your app] and ~/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/FlashPlayer/[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

* GNU-Linux: ~/.macromedia
