I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

I am looking for a new GREAT RPG so I am very interested to see the replies here.

My favorites are Zelda - Original
Never Winter Nights
The Elder Scrolls

As you may notice it was years between playing Zelda (dont even remember what I played it on, something that plugged into the tv. Maybe Atari ?)
and the next game which was The elder Scrolls and then NeverWinter nights.

So I know there have to be tons of really GREAT RPG games that I am not even aware of.
So I will really be watching this thread, Common guys whats the best?

Neverwinter Nights is a good PC RPG, at least as far as storylines and roleplaying go. I was playing NWN2 for a while, and it was fun... but reminded me entirely too much of the original, and the combat SUCKED!

Single player RPGs for the PC are kind of a dying breed tho, its MMORPGs are just too profitable, and offer waaaay more options.
