I think it's because they're competing with Sony's PlayStation 3 and PSP. The PSP is compatible with the PS3 just like how Nintendo's previous console, the Game Cube, was compatible with the Game Boy Advance. So now, the Nintendo Wii and Mini GBA are responding back. The portable consoles can be connected to the main consoles, and get downloads and data from either the portable or main console. Hopefully this will be good. So far, the Nintendo Wii is winning the battle over the X-Box 360 and PS3. But it's still a long way to go before we find out which system comes out on top. Like I've said in a couple of my previous posts, I'm aiming more towards the Wii. Might get the other two consoles later, but I'll have to wait and see how these systems do.
