I play guitar(beginner) and piano but I love rhythm n' music games like gh, ddr, stepmania, etc. Also sango there are close to piano rhythm games like stepmania which is like ddr but with ur keyboard or pop'n music which can be played like a piano(finger style) heres a vid of pop'n music

Also forgot to mention that I play gh because it's a game that I think is really different that me playing guitar since I actually
take classes. There's also rock band now which makes it more fun with lots of people.

Guitar Hero is pretty damn fun when playing with buddies no doubt. I play both real guitar and Guitar Hero though.

Does anyone know where tome get free video guitar lessons that are decent. I'm a beginner / intermediate (more on the beginner side :P ) and I want to get serious about learning guitar. Any suggestions?

It is fun, as is rockband...after meeting the umpeenth kid on who 5 starred everything on expert who thought he really was a super awesome guitar player and could be famous, my hatred for that game grew.

While it may be more rewarding it's not nearly as easy. I'm trying to learn the guitar, and I enjoy guitar hero. They aren't exclusive, you can do both. And I don't think anyone (well anyone that is even a little smart) thinks Guitar is a substitute for real guitar.
