Well, if you would look at it that way... I´m constantly paying for sex :S lol! But looking at it in that way... I´ve been paid for sex aswell!

But still, no... It´s different. You take you girl out for dinner and you have a nice time and it´s not as if you don´t pay for her meal you won´t get any sex. But the prostitutes on the other hand... You HAVE to pay them and for ONE thang only... (well, three things maybe but you get the point)

It's a strange dichotomy isn't it? We're all prudes when it comes to prositutes, but we like our porn.

there is one main difference for me between paying for sex, and taking a girl out to the movies, treating her, etc, etc...

The first example is really easy to do, and you are guaranteed to have sex (no question about that unless you really scare her off). The second example is a bit more respectable i'd guess since you aren't guaranteed to have sex with the girl (and many times the odds are against you), and if you do pull it off, guys will think that you really scored (especially if she's really hot)

You never hear guys say "damn! you really scored with that prostitute you paid for last night!"

The true deciding factor in this i guess is that i have a girlfriend....

I like reading the feedback from the members here, but some answers did strike me as being a bit......fake/false I'd say. More times than any the "chase" is what gets guys going, seeing a woman at a club/bar and trying to seal the deal.

But honeslty ask yourself, if you were vacationing and at the hotel bar there are some beautiful bodies and the booze are flowing and your feeling the girl you are chatting up and realize she is a prostitute...would you be able to walk away from that scenario?
