Myspace vs Facebook

Lately I have been getting on facebook a lot more than i ever do on myspace. I feel like myspace has gotten very superficial

That is how I feel as well, but I can't put my finger on why exactly it feels that way.

On the otherhand, Facebook is definitely better for many other reasons:

More streamlined chat/im function
functionality of comments, searches, etc. is better
like/become a fan option can be fun, even if I don't use it

I had a hard time adjusting to it at first, but in the end, I like it a lot more.

i've been on facebook ever since it first started and was just for colleges, never been on myspace. i think facebook is more legit, by that i mean myspace just seems cheesy and sketchy

Myspace isnt only spam, its not as resourceful as Facebook has become. Facebook just has close to everything you need to keep in line with your friends without having to send out a million text messages/emails, or whatnot.
