What are your views on suicide?
Here are my thoughts:
Like the saying goes, it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Doing it just because of a few stressful issues in your life is not gonna solve anything. It'll only make matters worse, since.... well, you're dead, and you can't fix a problem when you're dead.
It's even worse for teenagers. They have a potential 50-60+ more years of life ahead of them. Possibly with a great amount of success and well-being. You just never know how good your life could turn out to be. But, they ignore that fact and end what could have been, just because their parents aren't the nicest people in the world and they can't get a date after they're girlfriend/boyfriend left them. Suicide is really selfish if you ask me. It shocks and saddens many people just for the sake of yourself.
I do think there is such thing as a justified suicide though. But only in extreme cases. For example, you've been stricken with a fatal and uncurable disease that ruins your chances of being active and enjoying yourself and doing your job, where just sit in your room in constant misery for days on end just waiting for your death to come. But since that's so rare a truly "justified" suicide is also a rare case.
Basically, to summarize what I just said, suicide is wrong for just stress and life problems that can be overcome and is only very rarely justifiable.
If you want to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first create the universe.
