So far is there any reason to buy a PS3?!

As of now there is still just about no games worth buying that are exclusive to PS3 of course that's going to change with MGS4 and FFXIII but it stil seems like right now there's no reason to buy a PS3 you might as well wait til it gets cheaper.

What do you guys think?

I think it's about some 'gameconsule' Dobbs. Had to look that one up… Like an Atari or something. But instead from Sony; they make tv's as well I believe.

i know what a PS3 is. thats about the only part that i could understand.

Yes, good point so for the only purpose for buying a PS3 is to play Blue Rays(kind of like manta rays right?lol)

if you really want a blu ray player, I'd say buy the ps3 if you have the money. if not, get a 360. right now, the ps3 isn't worth it but when the games come, that'd be the time to buy

nah i dont mean it as its only purpose. but if playing blue-rays (after hd-dvd lost the race) is part of ur buying reason why waste the money on a stand alone player when u can also get a gaming console for the same price.

i wouldnt buy a console anyway. im a pc maniac ^^

4 reasons:

1) Blu-Ray (can't deny that it kicks ass, and if you can have it for about the same price as a 360, why wouldn't you?)
2) Not that expensive. PS3 + Blu Ray + Free Wireless Internet + Wifi = worth a lot more than $400.
3) Technology. The PS3 has the power of the Cell and Blu Ray, so that means it WON'T be outdated by next year. Xbox360 was built on last-gen technology. It's powerful, but the technology is old. Rockstar already announced that GTA5 will not fit on 360 discs, and there are many rumors that Microsoft will be releasing a new gaming system in 2009 because the 360 simply isn't powerful enough to last another two years.
4) Games. Look past the stereotype and you'll see that PS3 has plenty of good games out already. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Call of Duty 4 (not exclusive, but who cares?), GTA4 (screw DLC, you'll be playing other games by the time it comes out), all the Tom Clancy games, plus a whole bunch coming out this summer/fall (MGS4, LittleBigPlanet, SOCOM: Confrontation, Resistance 2, Killzone2). In terms of software, 2008 is unarguably the year of the ps3.
