Question Motivation - 03-18-2007, 07:34 PM

MOTIVATION

Are you finding it hard to keep motivated? Do you have plans and seem to be wandering off-track?

Try reading. That's right, read some success stories. Go to your local library or bookstore and read a biography of somebody who did something similar to what you are trying to do. Let the person ion the book be a mentor of sorts, a beacon shining light on your path.

Now go out and kick a little.

I read as a means of escapism from my lack of motivation. No kidding.

Well, when I'm looking for something or someone to motivate me, I just watch Rocky and Rocky II. I'll watch the training scenes to get me going.

Hello Chongwah my good friend , this your brother druid here under a different nickname

Its is true what you say , after all the years of playing music and not really going anywhere with it i get distracted and forget why i play music in the first place.

I go back and read some books or watch a vid about some of the people i admire the most and it gives me the motivation to keep going.

Not to mention putting in a CD or an old vinyl recording and listening to my heroes on the stereo.

cheers my man
