Could someone explain to me how bit torrents work??

The program I'm trying to download is called Virtual DJ.

- I downloaded the bit torrent program and installed it.

- I downloaded the bit torrent program file and then put it into the bit torrent program.

It took a few hours for the program to get downloaded. After completion, I went to open the program up...............and it was a Real Player file.

I thought I did something wrong. So I downloaded others, but they were all Real Player files....................But it's not supposed to be Real Player files...............am I doing something wrong?

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

I just found out I was downloading the wrong thing! Ooops.

Now I have the program, it's all set BUT! I need to find a serial number.
