What do you do for a living (Jobs) - 08-26-2006, 03:44 AM

Ok I'm pretty sure most people in here got jobs!! So what do you do for that hard erned pay check!!

I'm an Underwriter for Home equity loans and lines of credit for the worlds 3rd largest bank (HSBC). Basicaly I'm the one that review and approve your/customers application (income, appraisal, title search and credit)...things of that nature. The biggest deal/loan I have ever done was for 2 million. And it was for someone famos "celebrity" to. He took a 2nd mortgage on his house to finish a movie he was working on. I had this guy whole financial history on my desk even his cell number...talk to him like everyday...I was like WOW!!

And on the weekends i'm a reservist, yeah I did the millitary thing, 9 yrs to be exact. joined it 1990 got out in 1999 and been in the reserve ever since

Interesting occupations thus far! I'm a recent college graduate, but I am a social entrepreneur (read : dirt poor idealist) and a freelance writer. But I love what I'm doing. I'm planning on law school next year, so I will be doing something steady soon.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

I sell CDs and DVDs and stuff like this, I also work as a DJ. Sounds interesting
but it is hard work and takes a lot of time. And sure it is fun.
