Solution for the DRM problem

Hi pals,

as you can see I am very new to your board and there isn't much left to contribute for a newbie what you unbelievable guys/girls do not already have.

But searching the forum I found out that you have massive problems with the DRM.

This needn't be.

Just convert the DRM files to another format and your files are free of the DRM. I've checked it and it works fine.

The following program will do that, but you have to 'free' it.
Reading the rules I've seen that I'm not allowed to post any keygens. So I don't of course!
But maybe some of you might need some help, so here is my question to the admin/moderators:
If I enable my email adress at SS, would you mind if someone would request the keygen from me via email?
For I don't want to be banned from SS by rules violation!

Thank you tauro, this solution had not occurred to me.
Do you by chance know a similar program for mac os x?
I can only find asf converter for windows.

Got a reply from a friend, hope this helps:

This truly is an issue. I myself have been looking for programs that will convert WMV, ASF, and RM files into mpg, mov, avi. etc. I only know of one program and thats "Cleaner" a multi format video converter. You can convert any file type into whatever you want, including RM files, BUT as far as I know it only converts RM, WMV, ASF files under under OS9 (classic). I run OS X, and when I try to convert RM, files, thats what it reads. thats all I know man.

Tauro I'm afraid to inform that I have installed the Boilsoft asf converter but when I tried to load a DRM content the application was unable to load it cause of restrictions of the content I tried to convert even if I had the Right to play it in W M Player.....so I think the problem is not solved yet.....

We will see next what happend.....bye and thanks for the tip ( I tried before with ASF Tools 3.1 unsuccessfully )

I myself have now got some DRM files which I can't crack with Boilsoft.
I now try some different converters. Maybe I'll get lucky.
Sorry that this is not a valid solution for every file.
