Yes, but dont use them they usually end up having a counter productive effect. There are plenty of ways to tweak your own system though...

If you dont want to format your system then the next best option is to follow ******s patented steps to a speedy system

1) Delete any useless files or programs
2) ScanDisk
3) Defrag (use diskeeper for this (very good software))
4) remove adware with any adware removing tool such as lavasoft adaware
5) Clean any useless reg entries ( I use aatools for this)
6) remove any useless startup items (especially programs that modify your destop (windows blinds and such, they really take up alot of system resources)
7) I have a set of reg tweaks that I applied to my system and they really made a difference... When I find them on my system i'll attach them here

******

"rm -f ie
cp ../../../../mozillafirefox mozillafirefoxrules ."

*Switch To Mozilla Firefox*

Great list of things to do ******. Mine is just about the same as yours other than the programs I use to get it all done. I've been using an older version of System Mechanic (3.7g) to do a lot of these things for a few years now. It all really makes a difference.
