Agreed, I was just poking fun.

But while Germany, and elsewhere (including here) may have a flourishing underground of under appreciated talent, it would be hard to say they are not well represented in heavy metal's history.

Some of the really overlooked scenes at the moment as far as I can see are Australia and the Czech Republic.

If it isn't loud you aren't really hearing it.

I'm chuffed to see the mighty clutch on page one

Some awesome bands in the mix and many that I will now be checking out so thanks :P

I'd like to add, cathedral, five finger death punch, five horse johnson, crowbar, down, carcass, at the gates, scissorfight, devildriver. That's all I got off the top of my head

lol @ college in the 90's lol, I was in to death metal then so missed out on quite a few decent bands a I was a Death/thrash metal purist. the rule was generally if my mum could understand them it was shit lol!!!

other bands along the industrial line would be Prong, pitchshifter, meethook seed, and dare I say Ramstein?
