I won't. First, the swine flu itself is not especially dangerous when compared to regular seasonal flu. As for the vaccine, I don't like the fact that it has been deveopped in a rush, with only minimal testing.
Also, in my country, to stretch the supply, the vaccine will also contain "adjuvants", which are chemicals and other biological agents that are supposed to boost the vaccine efficiency.
So, in view of the low risk associated with the flu, I have decided not to be a guinea pig for the vaccine.
I'm all for inoculation in general but I think I'll pass for two reasons. One, my impression of H1N1 is that, as Murray pointed out, it's not as bad as the standard flu. I'm not 100% sure how accurate that is but hey, my other reason is that I'm a healthy, active, twenty-something which puts me outside of the vaccine's immediate target audience. Also I'm lazy and forgetful and don't always give appropriate consideration to my well being.
But if you're young, old, or sickly you should probably go get pricked. Or not, I don't really care.
Both good points gentlemen and i to have the same feelings and
will not be getting the jab,Also seen a video with David Icke on
the topic in subject and not that i totally agree with him but he does
raise some good points, especially about the child immune system..
