When 3 semi trucks run over your iPhone - 10-07-2009, 09:41 PM
A good friend of mine who used to be my boss had her iPhone ran over by 3-yes, three-semi trucks while it was in an Otterbox Defender case. She didn't do this on purpose of course! Take a look at the photos!




As you can see, the only problem is the screen and the LCD. The digitizer works fine and she can even answer calls!

Nope. It didn't activate until today, 3 days later! She's only had the phone for a week

Oh man! That iPhone looks really miserable.
Can't she do anything about it? Getting a replacement or something? Is it covered by the warranty? (i guess it doesn't)

Run over by three trucks only one week after getting the phone...That's just bad luck.

She's gonna take it to the Apple store, but it's not covered so she's gonna have to pay... The cost of the parts is only 'bout $50, and I've repaired this kinda thing before, but the problem is that I would void the warranty, so if she broke it again, her new insurance policy wouldn't cover her.
