Most overated singer of my generation !
His performance on stage was probably one of the best.
His off stage and off record performance was doubtful

Granted as a child he was amazing ! Never was able to live up to his initial billing, which perhaps contributed to his eventual downfall.

He was good - probably very good as a performer - taken too early out of this world at 50.

...but it seems to be way over the top to compare him THE greats of music.

I hear they have already done the autopsy on Michael's body and they have ruled out sunshine, moonlight and good times and are now just blaming it on the boogie. :lol:

Looks like he died due to an overdose of Demerol. Media say he was getting a daily shot from a doctor and that the doses were simply too large for him (according to a family member), eventually causing the cardiac arrest. Several sources are now stating the the police are looking for the doctor that administered the drug..

Never appreciated the guy so I won't cry for him but I am sure it will cause a lot of commotion all around the world.

Remembered for Smooth criminal by many.

Personally i didnt take part in the furor surrounding his private life, i just loved his music, grew up with it, and will miss him loads

R.I.P Michael, the music world will miss ya, and no doubt the papparzi will more.

Just wanted to get other peoples reaction to the death of Michael Jackson. I am 49 years old and grew up listening to his music. Most of it I liked. Seems sad that a person who was loved by millions ended up dying what seems to be lonely and alone, without friends or family around, in a rented house. I guess he could never find inner peace and turned to drugs, as many celebrities do, to lessen the pain. No matter how you feel about Michael Jackson he did entertain millions of people. Hope he has peace now.
