What you need to do - take the audio file, edit the clip within Audacity. The absolute maximum length should be 30 seconds, b/c after that it's hitting your voicemail. Try to avoid ringtones that big b/c most phones can't handle the bigger filesizes. Save it as an MP3, your bitrate should be between 96-128.
Take the email clip, and email it to your phone. Even common phones technically have an email address technically, that's how picture messages usually come across. Don't include any subject or anything, just attach the file and send it to your phone.
OR
Option #2 - after you have the MP3 clip, connect to your phone via Bluetooth or USB cable and just transfer the file that way. |
