Do black members unconsciously think that other members here are black too?

I noticed several times now that I unconsciously (actually at those moments consciously of course) think of all members here as being in their thirties, male and white (Caucasian). Things that change that perspective are knowledge (like reading Minerva is a woman), language used (knowing JJJ is younger than me), the kind of posts they make (phil is a bit older then me ) and other details, like avatar and maybe even preference of posted pics.

What I'm saying is that it actually takes quite some signals, before I consciously notice that a member is or could likely be black, although there's probably quite some more members here that are.

Now I know a topic like this is weird, but weird things tend to fascinate me.
Do you notice the same? And if you're black, well, I was wondering if it is maybe different because likely there's more Caucasian members here then black members, being UK based, well, there's just a bigger percentage white people in Europe (even in the States there is I believe). So how do you unconsciously see other male members here? Black, white, no colour? Same for Islamic members maybe, although I think they might be even more aware of likely being in the minority here, so therefore more likely unconsciously labelling the members white here… Asian? All feedback welcome.

Funny thing is I usually have this idea that the members here really look like their avatars... so I always imagine that wreck is Italian, otaka is Chinese, Ben Turpin is cross-eyed, Polimo is 89 years old, DethPhunk never shaves, and The Rock is, uh... The Rock...
Other than that, I never really have any thought about their ethnicity or looks... but with some additional infos like age and nationality, I usually start to unconsciously picture them in my mind, e.g. phil looks like Michael Caine (turns out he doesn't ) and Kenk looks like Andy Gray....

Agreed yes, the avatar is also a powerful 'determiner' of what someone looks like in your head. I do tend to see more of the character why the avatar was chosen then so much the visual picture of the avatar itself. Yours (eru) made me think you're slighly younger then I would imagine without the pic. Not cause of the pic itself, but you choosing it.

I love duuuumb's avatar. Makes me really think it's him. Also, vettdj makes me think it's him. Nelsson had one where we all wondered if it was really him.

i usually judge by avatar also, so if someone has rims, afro samuri, guns or 50 cent as their avat etc.. (not to be politically incorrect but images + media equal mind fuck) i may assume that they are black, or if i see a avat like naruto or pikachu....., i assume they are under 18, and or Asian , or just as nerdy as i am.
army avats, i mostly assume they are white American.
then you have the bling bling avats, i usually picture wiggers.
then comes the naked to sexy images of woman avats, i know they are guys, but the white guys seem to have the black booty images, while some black guys have the white booty images (hard to really judge that one).

cant tell by the way people type, cause half the internet thinks there from Alabama eg: "howdy yall" (i shamefully admit to this act)

thats my view on things.
also like Arizona said if they post a pic of themselves, makes it allot easier to imagine

I can't really say that I have thought about this issue before. I just always assumed everybody here was my age, just with different taste in the porn they liked.

I only assume everyone is male until proven otherwise. I don't picture further than that, because it's usually wrong anyways.
