Meaning, how is a country's media financed (tv, newspapers, radio), through it's advertisers (companies) or it's viewers/readers (subscription fees)?

I think it's more power that corrupts then money. But money gives power, so they come close to each other in a way.

Socially accepted behaviour is based on consensus and thus corruption is also. So a society with many persons deviating in an unwanted direction would be considered corrupt.
I know that answer sucks, but I find it to be accurate.
It's hard pointing things like that out. Some things that are common and accepted today would have gotten you killed a few hundreth years ago...
And if you want a picture: make a spread of behaviour patterns and draw a circle around the accepted ones. The number of people outside shows the corruption.
