So I've taken the leap and ordered ADSL Office1000 for my home office. Fixed IP Address x 1. I will be getting a wireless router and 4 port switch combined and will be running NAT onto my two PC's. I have a Server that isn't built yet and a copy of 2000 server and exchange 2000. Its an OLD server dual 400mhz and Raid but not alot of storage (yet).

Now,,, thequestion is what am i going to do with all that bandwidth. Any suggestions?

I am aware that the 256k upload isn't much but i'm sure with a bit of tweaking and messing that 128k at least could be available at all times (mostly it'll be more) for the server on upload and almost all the 1000 on the download.

So what am i gonna do with all this bandwidth and SPACE?

I full intend on Downloading every Album ever made and most every film i can get. Surely there's more to life that this?

@ tweety thats about it other than I guess you can crack faster....
Oh also theres a cool place where you can see Music videos online.. I keep it on all the time.

If nothing else, you'll be able to spam faster...that first 1000 took you a year. The next 1000 will come and go before Xmas!!

Almost 2 months?????They running a new line from the exchange to your place????We get ADSL in about 3-4days and cable in most parts within a day, self installed...hehehe only one cable operator. Bummer, hang in there ducky

Its way too complicated to explane...this has been ongoing for about a year. I've had to do some very clever orders with BT to just get to the stage where i could get it if they enabled the exchange. The exchange goes live on 8th October and i will be installed soon after.

I truely will be a Xmas Gift...or even a New Years Aniversary Party...hehe.

CAN'T wait....

and thank God its all over.....BT are so far doing OK
but its not in yet........is it.
