sd memory cards

My pda takes only 1 gb. Anything above, it wont recognize. But i researcheed and found a way to reformat it so that it can accept bigger memory. My question is do you think it would be cheaper to buy like three or four 1 gb cards or just get a 3/4 gb one?

I'd say one 3/4GB one Try ebuyer maybe. You'll simply have to look for yourself.

Make sure that when you have reformatted the pda it is capable of using the SDHC card's,as 4 gb cards will be of the HC ( high capacity ) format and not all equipment is capable of recognizing this standard.

as to which size cards to go for,that really is dependent on what you use the card for,do you need the full 4 gb capacity or would you be able to use the pda for what you want but using say 2 gb card's,there is a lot of truth in the saying of dont put all your eggs in one basket,lose or damage the large card and you have lost everything.

as a photographer i use SDHC but i always spread a shoot across several cards.

in the uk a 2gb card can be had for less than £10 including postage etc.
