Need a bit of help.. - 05-02-2008, 10:27 PM

So, I signed up for the RealityKings 3-day trial and cancelled 15 minutes afterward. It wasn't exactly what I wanted.

I've been reading about people being billed after cancelling their subscription though. I'm not sure if that would apply to me since I only had the trial.

Should I be worrying right now?

my sentiments too, contact your bank and veto any payments to realitykings or to whom your payment details were given.

Well, The way it seems the people who were being billed afterwards were being billed because they cancelled their subscription to one site and they were still being billed for using all the others. Since I cancelled before the Trial could renew into a monthly subscriptions, I'm not sure If i should be worrying about that.

If in doubt, give your bank a shout
You may have no problem now, but by talking to your bank you're covering yourself in the event a payment is called for, it's called "Playing Safe", especially as it does appear to worry you.

Cant you just use Paypal? Because then you don't reveal your details. But I would check with your bank.

Actually, I just read the fine print. It says " 3 day trials recur at $39.95 unless cancelled."

And I canceled mine already

Most of what I read involved people being billed that amount. My guess is that they didn't cancel and just assumed the Trial wouldn't renew. Then they were surprised a month later when they got the charge for 39.95.

Although, If i am charged anymore, I will definitely being raising hell.

Thanks for your help though, Everyone.
