A brave share with us Devi8i0n.
Condolences to you and your mother. May the light give you strenght the following days my friend.

My mother's best friend is dying of cancer. I gave her the following book that I considered a very good read myself about the subject, maybe it can help you a very tiny bit in time.
'Tibetan book of living and dying' from Sogyal Rinpoche.

DeVi8i0n……my deepest and most sincere condolences go out you and your family at this surprising time of tragedy and grief.

May your sister rest in peace, and hopefully you and your family will be able to pull thru and heal in this time of tragedy and heartache.

Again my best wishes and prayers to you and your love ones.

-Wreck

Arizona
Brilliant book Arizona, very comforting, even though the practices are essentially Buddhist. It was revised from the Tibetan Bardo of the Dead.

DV8, there's nothing I can say or do to make this time for you and your family any easier. Personally, I've experience a fair amount of lost loved ones and know that the consolation given by those close to you will help you though this extremely difficult time.
I know I speak on behalf of the entire Staff when i say it's profoundly sad to hear this news and I hope that you find inner peace as quickly as you can.

Celebrate your sister's life and know that I, at least, am eternally grateful for what she and the countless thousands do, and have done, to ensure life as we know it.

When you pray tomorrow, please add a small "Thank you" from me.

I get along with eveyone except people

Belated condolences my friend. I know how it feels myself having lost most of my family, especially this close to Christmas. But know that we care.
