Yes buying sexy lingerie is a good idea for the misses because...

1) women like to dress up and feel sexy
2) knowing her size and measurements without her knowing that you noticed, turns her on
3) you get sex for it.

However, you cannot just get her lingerie for Christmas because she might think that you're being selfish (for sex). You have to convince her otherwise. You have to get something else or do something else such as a dinner or something nicer than usual. I'm thinking about getting my girlfriend some jewelry (diamond bracelet or necklace), but I have time. Good luck with your Christmas shopping!
