Thx, but doing it for 1000+ images makes the joints sore.

I was semi-wrong. Gifs are stored in the file folder, but dragging them to another folder doesn't work too well. It renames them to image1, image2, etc but it duplicated the names for some of the pix.
Example (temp folder->New Folder):
image21->image1
image23->image2
image24->image4
image26->image2
image30->image4
Not sure what is happeing here.

I do have another question. What is everyone's favorite utility software (eg. Disk Doctor)? I am digging thru the net to try to find the best software to keep Win2k working OK. Seems that adding/removing software is creating problems for me sometimes. Thx.
