Ok - now I realise that most of my posts can be
somewhat on the verbose side - and there's always the tendency to 'go off on one' .... but I do seem to be coming across an error similar to this (when attempting to send a private message) on more than a few occassions recently:

There doesn't seem to be the same restriction (at least not at this 3000 character value) on the board posts - so can someone either
- up this 3000 limit
- explain why it's fairly low
- tell me to quit complaining and stop writing so damn much?
