I agree this is annoying in some cases, however, this would involve a lot of work for mods in selecting which threads should be closed. Plus possible confrontations for closing a thread that maybe should be left open. I really agree with ari here, acting like police is never the best option for a forum as it usually leads to unnecessary rebellion. We should only enforce rules when absolutely necessary imho.
